VideoCardZ published a blog post yesterday (March 6) reporting that HP Australia’s official website unexpectedly listed a new OMEN 35L gaming desktop, equipped with an unreleased Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus processor.
According to the page information, this host is also equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card, 16GB of RAM and a 1TB solid-state drive, with a starting price of AU$5499.
The Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus processor is a new member of the “Arrow Lake Refresh” architecture, featuring a 24-core, 24-thread design, specifically consisting of 8 performance cores (P cores) and 16 energy efficiency cores (E cores).
In terms of frequency, its maximum turbo frequency reaches 5.5 GHz, with the performance core and energy efficiency core having turbo frequencies of 5.4 GHz and 4.7 GHz, respectively. It also supports higher frequency DDR5-7200 memory, with base TDP and maximum turbo frequency TDP maintained at 125W and 250W, respectively.

Compared to the currently available Ultra 7 265K, the new 270K Plus adds four more efficiency cores and 6MB of L3 cache. The media outlet points out that its overall specifications are more like a “youth version” of the flagship Ultra 9 285K processor.
