According to a post by Reddit user FSTGang yesterday, Sony is testing a brand new homepage UI for the PS5 console, splitting the PS Store, Game Library, PS Plus, and other tabs.
According to reports, the biggest change in this update is the addition of a top menu bar, which separates options such as PS Store, PS Plus, Games, and Game Library. Players can quickly switch between tabs using the L1 and R1 buttons on the controller.
Visually, the new UI looks cleaner and is easier to use. It would be even better if Sony could add features like “folder management” or a “full theme”.
Currently, this update has been pushed out to players participating in the PS5 Beta Program, and it is expected to appear in the official version in the near future.
