Honor’s Chief Imaging Engineer, Luo Wei, posted an article today, previewing MWC 2026. He stated that at this year’s MWC, Honor will announce more than just the Magic V6 and the Radish phone; there’s something even bigger to announce.
According to official teasers from Honor yesterday, the Honor MWC 2026 Global Launch Event will officially kick off on March 1st. The Honor Magic V6 flagship foldable phone will make its global debut, the Honor ROBOT PHONE will be previewed, and numerous other new products and cutting-edge technologies will be showcased. Rumors also suggest that Honor will launch its first humanoid robot , and an image of a robot with the Alpha logo appears in the official teaser poster.
As previously reported, in March last year, Honor launched its new artificial intelligence strategy – the ” Honor Alpha Strategy ” – at the 2025 Mobile World Congress (MWC), announcing its full transformation from a smartphone manufacturer to a global AI terminal ecosystem company. Honor’s new CEO, Li Jian, announced that Honor will invest $10 billion over the next five years to build an AI device ecosystem with global partners.
Last November, Honor CEO Li Jian attended the World Internet Conference in Wuzhen and revealed the latest progress of the Alpha strategy, saying that the strategy has made substantial progress: products such as the Magic8 series continue to advance the goal of “creating smart phones”; in 2026, Honor will launch the Robot Phone, which integrates AI, personal intelligence and high-definition camera; and Honor will also establish the Alpha Lab in the future.
