According to GAC Aion’s official website, the new AION N60 will open for blind pre-orders on March 25. The company has already begun teasing the vehicle, highlighting features such as “larger-than-its-class” dimensions, standard zero-gravity seats with massage function, a luxury-car-level 5-link suspension system, and standard high-speed intelligent driving assistance.

The new car was designed by Benoit Jacob, a renowned designer who previously worked for brands such as BMW. He was involved in the design of the first-generation BMW i3 and i8, the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé (F36), the Audi A5 Sportback (B8), and the BMW 5 Series GT (F07).

The vehicle measures 4615 x 1860 or 1883 x 1673mm, with a wheelbase of 2775mm, and is a five-seater. Optional features include lidar and a panoramic sunroof. It is equipped with a 100kW or 165kW motor from GAC Aion’s own Inpey battery, and is expected to offer both high and low powertrain options. Official information mentions that the vehicle utilizes amorphous alloy electric drive technology to improve energy efficiency.
