OpenAI’s chatbot ChatGPT now offers multi-tiered subscription services to meet the needs of different users.

The free version of ChatGPT has feature and usage limits and includes advertising. The paid subscription, ChatGPT Go, is priced at $8 per month and provides basic paid services while retaining some limitations and ads.

The mainstream version, ChatGPT Plus, costs $20 per month, offering ad-free access, broader functionality, and higher usage quotas. ChatGPT Pro, aimed at professional users, costs $200 per month and provides the highest level of functionality and quota support currently available.

Yesterday, developer Tibor Blaho discovered a string in the front-end code of the ChatGPT web version that refers to a new subscription tier called “ChatGPT Pro Lite,” which shows a price of $100 per month.

Based on the “reasoning_limit_boost” field appearing in the webpage code, this version may offer 3 to 5 times the usage quota of the Deep Thinking Model (such as the o1/o3 series) compared to the Plus version, but it is not expected to include the Pro version’s exclusive professional mode (SOTA Mode).
