Although the Xiaomi Tag tracker has been available at some retailers in Europe, it has not actually been officially released.

Xiaomi’s official account announced today that this product will be unveiled in Barcelona on February 28th, alongside the Xiaomi 17 series, Xiaomi Mi Pad 8 series, REDMI Buds 8 Pro earphones, Xiaomi Ultra-Thin Magnetic Power Bank 5000mAh 15W, and Xiaomi Smart Travel AIoT products. It is reported that it weighs only 10g, allowing users to find what they’re looking for in seconds.

This product is already available at several distributors in Europe, and related product pages have also appeared on Xiaomi’s official websites in the UK and France.

This product is powered by a CR2032 button battery, providing approximately one year of battery life. The body is about 7.2 mm thick and made of plastic.

However, the Xiaomi Tag currently only supports Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC, and does not yet support Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology. It is said that Xiaomi will release a UWB-enabled version later, but the specific timing is unknown.
