MacBook Neo Drops to 2,699 RMB With 700 RMB Trade-In

The Apple MacBook Neo is now officially on sale. It comes in four colors, features an aluminum chassis, and is equipped with a 13-inch Liquid Retina display. The official price starts at 4,599 yuan, but after the national subsidy, it can be as low as 3,909 yuan, and after the education discount, it can be as low as 3,399 yuan .

If you choose the “trade-in” option on JD.com, your old device will be worth more than 200 yuan, and you will receive a subsidy of 500 to 700 yuan (the subsidy amount depends on the account).

After national subsidies and trade-in subsidies, the final price is a good deal of 2699~2899 yuan.

The MacBook Neo features the Apple A18 Pro processor previously used in the iPhone 16 Pro, and boasts a fanless design for completely silent operation. With this more affordable computer, Apple aims to target Chromebook and low-end Windows users, as well as those who might want a MacBook but find it too expensive. While still constructed from aluminum, the new computer is available in a variety of colors. These are the most vibrant colors available on an Apple laptop since the iBook G3 in 1999.

The MacBook Neo features an aluminum alloy chassis with rounded corners, combining an elegant appearance with a solid and comfortable grip. Weighing 1.23 kg, it easily fits into a backpack or handbag.

The MacBook Neo features a 13-inch Liquid Retina display with a resolution of 2408 x 1506, 500 nits of brightness, and 1 billion color support.

The MacBook Neo features two USB-C ports, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and a multi-touch trackpad. It also has a 1080p webcam, dual microphones, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, with some more expensive versions featuring Touch ID.

Apple promises up to 16 hours of battery life and includes two USB-C ports, but no MagSafe charging. A 3.5mm headphone jack is located on the right side of the port panel near the front, and it also supports Wi-Fi 6E high-speed wireless connectivity and Bluetooth 6.0.
