Apple on Monday pushed out the visionOS 26.4 developer preview Beta 2 update (build number: 23O5220e) to Vision Pro users. This update comes 7 days after the last Beta/RC release.
It should be noted that due to caching issues in Apple’s regional server configurations, there may be a slight delay in the detection of upgrade updates in some areas, which is generally within half an hour and will not take too long.
VisionOS 26.4 Beta 2 primarily supports NVIDIA CloudXR and Foveated Streaming technologies. VisionOS 26.4 further breaks down ecosystem barriers. Since NVIDIA CloudXR is a widely adopted third-party streaming technology in the VR field, native support for this protocol means that a vast number of existing PC VR games and high-performance industrial software can be ported to the Apple Vision Pro platform at a lower cost and with a better experience.
