Google is expected to release its next-generation foldable phone, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, later this year, and today AndroidHeadlines and @OnLeaks revealed the first renders of the device’s appearance.
The Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold is quite similar to its predecessor, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Google has not made any major redesigns to its appearance; the overall shape and the curvature of the bezels remain the same. The main materials for the body are still aluminum alloy and glass.
In the unfolded state, a punch-hole camera is still located in the upper right corner of the main screen, and the bezels around the screen are even and slightly raised—this is both a requirement of the foldable screen protection mechanism and a common design feature of current book-style foldable screens. In the folded state, the front appearance is almost identical to its predecessor.
The top and bottom layouts of the device are conventional: the bottom features a USB Type-C port, microphone, speaker openings, and a SIM card slot; the top only has a few microphone openings.
Compared to the front, the changes to the back of the new phone are more noticeable. The Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold’s rear camera deco has been redesigned, resulting in a cleaner and more modern look. Meanwhile, the LED flash and microphone are now integrated into the pill-shaped notch at the top, sharing the same area with one of the rear cameras, instead of being arranged separately as in its predecessor. The transition between the camera module and the back panel also features a curved design, creating a smoother visual effect.
The back panel remains completely flat, with the Google logo still centered in the same position. The physical buttons are also in the same location as the previous generation: the power/lock button is located above the volume buttons.
Thanks to structural optimization, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is thinner than its predecessor. Based on CAD data, its thickness in the folded state is 10.1 mm (14.9 mm including the camera bump), which is about 0.7 mm thinner than the Pixel 10 Pro Fold’s 10.8 mm; its thickness in the unfolded state is 4.8 mm (9.6 mm including the camera bump), which is 0.4 mm thinner than the previous generation’s 5.2 mm.
While it still lags behind some competitors’ folded thicknesses of less than 9 mm, it is undoubtedly a step towards thinner designs. The body height (155.2 mm) and unfolded width (150.4 mm) remain the same as its predecessor.

Aside from minor design tweaks, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold will upgrade from the previous generation’s Tensor G5 processor to the Tensor G6. Specific specifications are unknown, but recent rumors suggest it may feature a 7-core design (this requires further confirmation).
The imaging capabilities are another area worth noting for upgrades. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold’s camera configuration has always been considered weaker than its flagship counterparts, especially in the ultra-wide-angle lens. Given the significant advancements competitors have made in foldable screen camera hardware, Google is expected to deliver a comprehensive upgrade in the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, but the specifics remain unclear.
In other aspects, no major changes are expected. The main screen and cover screen sizes are expected to remain unchanged, and features such as IP68 dust and water resistance, Pixel wireless fast charging, and Qi2 wireless charging are expected to continue. Battery capacity is also unlikely to see a significant increase.
Based on Google’s release schedule over the past two years, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold will likely be officially unveiled in August. The Pixel 9 series was released in August 2024, and the Pixel 10 series in August 2025; this timeline seems to have become a new tradition for Google.
As for pricing, the situation is more complex. Previous information based on internal Google plans suggested the Pixel 11 Pro Fold might be priced at $1500, but due to factors such as tariffs and soaring memory prices, the final price remains unknown. However, it is certain that it is unlikely to be cheaper than the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which starts at $1799.
