Crimson Desert game account released a statement expressing sincere gratitude to all players currently enjoying the game, approximately 36 hours after its release. Since launch, the team has been diligently listening to player feedback and striving to improve the game.
The announcement also stated that, particularly regarding controls, they are fully aware of the inconvenience many players have experienced and are preparing a corresponding update patch.
They sincerely apologize for failing to provide a satisfactory gaming experience for players using keyboards/mouse. To improve the gaming experience as quickly as possible, they are humbly acknowledging and respecting everyone’s feedback.
Crimson Desert was officially released on March 20, starting at 268 yuan on Steam in China, and launched on PC, Mac, and console platforms. It sold over 2 million copies worldwide on its first day.
Despite the game’s strong launch, media reviews have been polarized. Metacritic averaged around 78 points, IGN gave it an initial score of 6, while IGN China gave it an 8. As of the time of this article, Steam Simplified Chinese reviews are “mostly negative.”
